Every pupil and member of staff is assigned to one of four Houses: Dukes, Judges, Masters or Vice Chancellors (VCs). There are many ways to contribute to your House, with a wide range of opportunities that encourage healthy competition and foster a strong sense of team spirit.

House Meetings take place on Fridays and are used to promote upcoming events, review recent competitions and host activities such as the highly competitive Spelling Bee. Each year, pupils select a charity for their House to support, and Houses organise a variety of fundraising events throughout the year.

Each House is led by a Head of House who motivates and encourages pupils to get involved. Their aim is to build a sense of belonging while promoting sportsmanship and shared responsibility. Pupils, particularly those in the senior school, can take on leadership roles, including helping with House meetings, organising events and supporting fundraising efforts.

Competitions span a wide range of interests, from Singing and Drama to Rugby, Athletics, General Knowledge and Chess. House Music and House Drama alternate annually and are key events, with parents invited to attend evening performances.

All competitions earn House points, which are tracked on the House noticeboard. The overall winner is awarded the Midland Bank Cup at the Celebration of Achievement at the end of the year.
